As you can see I tend to favor the Fall/Winter collections as the posts on designer collections have been scarce this spring/summer. I try to feature a variety of designers as a way to expose my readers to the ones they may not be familiar with. This upcoming season's Resort Collections have been very strong and I am liking what I am seeing. As a way to get you guys into designer collections again I will try to feature a few of the Resort 2012 collections that I liked starting with Ashley and Mary Kate Olsen's 'The Row'. I have to say the Olsen twins' collection had to grow on me and I am absolutely in love with their Elizabeth and James line. Their design aesthetic is basically minimalist, which mirrors my own personal style aesthetic with a dedication to clean lines and lux fabrics.
