Karlie Kloss really shouldn't be this stunning.  She really is one of the most fiercest models in the industry.  Her walk, her editorials, the way she poses.  The girl is most definitely a BOSS!!

Featured Model: Jasmine Tookes

Jasmine Tookes is an American Model from Huntington Beach California.  She was discovered while shopping with her mother.  Her first big break came when she appeared in a campaign for Abercrombie and Fitch.  Jasmine doesn't have the editorial resume like some of the other girls featured on the blog but her runway work is comparable.  Keep your eye out for this beautiful girl.  In an industry lacking African American talent it is good to see a home grown girl getting an opportunity.

Featured Model: Lindsey Wixson

 This feature has been a long time coming for me.  I don't know why it took me so long to feature the amazing Lindsey Wixson on this blog but here she is.  She is your typical American girl next door turned model.  She falls into that category that I seemed to love which is models with weird facial features.  Lindsey is instantly recognizable for her pout, gap tooth and doe eyes. She often times (at least in my opinion) resembles other faves of mine Anais Pouliot and Daphne Groeneveld in editorials and ad campaigns.  They are oftentimes featured in a lot of campaigns together because of their similar looks.  Most recently Lindsey was chosen as Style.com cover model for their very first issue and can be seen in Versace for H&M's ad campaigns.  Lindsey is a favorite of Muiccia Prada as she is oftentimes featured in Prada and Miu Miu campaigns as well.  She is currently the #12 ranked model in the world which means look forward to more cover stories, features and only girl campaigns from her.  Her work is so exciting to see mainly because she photographs very well and her editorial work is extremely high fashion.

Featured Model: Anais Mali

Anais Mali is a french model known for her catalog and advertisement campaign work.  Anais has worked as a model for J. Crew catalogs and Levi and Gap ad campaigns.  She has seen her star rice most recently as her runway work increases.  Anais will be introduced as one of the new Angels in this year's Victoria Secret runway show.  In the meantime be on the look out for this up and comer in your favorite magazine's editorials as well as high profile designer runway shows.  

Featured Model: Models off Duty

I decided to do something a little bit different with this featured model post.  I wanted to share two off duty photos of two models I have previously featured on this blog.  Freja Beha Erichsen and Anais Pouliot.  I think the 'Model off Duty' look is so inspirational.  It is very interesting to see how these women dress.  They oftentimes have the simplest, chicest looks without being too over the top.  I get a lot of my own personal style inspiration from off duty models.  The looks are much more attainable than your average celebrity look. 

Featured Model: Freja Beha Erichsen

Freja Beha Erichsen is one of the most recognizable models in the industry.  She also happens to be my favorite model.  I don't feature her enough on this blog but it goes without saying that her work is amazing!!  She is one of the most versatile models I have ever seen.  She is known for her androgynous looks bringing a natural edginess to modeling that is hard to duplicate.  There isn't a designer that doesn't want her in their show and an ad campaign that she isn't featured in.  In one season alone Freja has been known to walk in 64 shows.  She landed 'only girl' campaigns for Chanel and Isabel Marant and was the cover girl for Vogue UK's September issue. 

Featured Model: Anais Pouliot

Anais Pouliot is a french Canadian with an impressive resume of designer ad campaigns and runway work.  She oftentimes can be seen in those amazing Miu Miu editorials with Lindsey Wixson as they both have similar facial features.  Her most recent work is the Louis Vuitton A/W '11 ad campaign.  Anais is among the top 50 models in the industry.

My Obsession: Daphne Groeneveld

Yes I am obsessing over a model (it happens) but this girl is amazing!! She has the weirdest looking face that is just so absolutely gorgeous (if that makes any sense at all).  Her editorials are crazy beautiful and they always come up with the most interesting looks for her.

Featured Model: Joan Smalls

Joan Smalls, a model from Puerto Rico, is the number 4 ranked Model in the world.  She boasts of an impressive show resume and has countless editorials in some of the most highly recognized fashion publications.  Joan was named the new face of the Estee Lauder brand in May 2011. 

Featured Model: Liu Wen

Liu Wen is the #7 ranked model in the world.  She is the first Asian face of the Estee Lauder company and she is spearheading the sudden influx of Asian models in the industry.  She has notable campaigns with Calvin Klein and DKNY and was the first Asian to model for Victoria Secret in 2009.  Liu Wen has had a very busy year having walked for 18 houses in the autumn/winter '11 shows.  She is such a beautiful woman and I have to add her to my list of faves along with Freja, Rosie, Chanel and Joan.

Featured Model: Imany

Imany is a french model that is now pursuing a music career.  I posted this picture because it is always refreshing to see more ethnic models in the fashion industry and I also think she is a very beautiful woman.  To learn more about Imany click here.



Featured Model: Magdalena Frackowiak

I am pretty color  blind when it comes to a model I like and its is no secret that I tend to find the funniest looking models to be the prettiest.  It is generally one feature that stands out like Shelby Coleman's freckles, Rosie Huntington Whiteley's lips, Lara Stones gap tooth, Chanel Iman's large head and doe eyes and Freja Beha Erichsen's androgyny.  It is no different with Magdalena Frackowiak I think she has the most gorgeous eyes I have ever seen and is why I chose her as the featured Model this month.

Featured Model: Shelby Coleman

Shelby is an American Model from Skokie Illinois.  I think she is gorgeous and I just love her freckles.
