Resort 2012: BCBG Max Azria

BCBGMaxAzria is one of my favorite designers to wear so I am really excited about the Resort Collection.  Free flowing silhouettes in bold colors and prints what is there not to like about this collection.

The LWD: Little White Dress

I have been in search of a LWD for this summer.  I have been to numerous department stores and I just can't seem to find anything I like.  So naturally of course I head on over to one of my favorite RTW designers MaxAzria and naturally I came across a few that I liked.  

 

 I really like the concept of the LWD you can stylize this ensemble any way you like.  I am not a fan of brights but this would be the perfect time to add a splash of color into your wardrobe.  I am pretty partial to neutrals myself  to maintain a muted palette but that is just me.  How would you stylize the LWD look? 

Everyone is 'Mad' about Herve Leger

. . . and I do mean everyone.  I have been noticing a trend among celebrities at red carpet events and magazine cover shoots and that is the Herve Leger bandage dress.  Herve Leger was originally founded in 1985 and later acquired by BCBGMAXAZRIAGROUP in 1998.  Under the tutelage of BCBGMaxAzriaGroup, Herve Leger's ready to wear collection has been a staple of most celebrities.  Check out a couple of celebs rocking the infamous "bandage" dress.  These dresses are tough, I have yet to see one that I don't like. 

Like anything high fashion these dresses run ya upward $1,000+ but I found an authorized online reseller of the company's dresses that sells them half off.  So if you are willing to pay $400-$500 for a real Herve Leger bandage dress check out this website http://www.herveslegesrdress.com/ they have some cute stuff on here.
