Loving the covers of the November issue of both W and Vogue Magazine.  It is very nice to see some fresh faces.  I almost always ignore the cover feature of most major American fashion magazines.  They use the same celebrities all the time.  I am excited about the diversity in culture of W and putting a hip hop artist on their cover.  Also Rooney Mara is a relative unknown actress right now, she won't be for long after the release of her much anticipated movie 'The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo'.  Make sure to check out both of these issues next month.

Editorial: Anna Paquin in Marc Jacobs for V Magazine

Huge fan of Marc Jacobs and it is ridiculous how I am able to recognize one of his creations almost immediately.  Much like his spring collection I also love what I am seeing for fall.  I think I might end up going crazy with the polka dots this fall much like I did the nautical stripes this summer.  I think Anna Paquin looks amazing in these editorial shots for V Magazine.

Seeing Spots: Emma Stone 'Elle Magazine' July 2011

I am absolutely loving the Elle Editorial 'Riot Girl' featuring Emma Stone.  The editorial explores the designer trend of using polka dots this upcoming Fall season.  My favorites were the Stella McCartney Tulle Blouse as well as the Sergio Rossi leather and suede boots.

Editorial: W Magazine 'Model U.N.'

I have been reading a lot about the industry's focus on more ethnic diversity when it comes to their models.  British Vogue did a recent article about the Asian influx of models and my most recent issue of W also did a nice piece on the new breed of models making their way in the industry.  It is very exciting to see more diversity and looks when it comes to models.

Jump & Smile: Vogue Italia May 2011

I love Vogue Italia for several reasons but one of them has to be their focus on ethnic culture and beauty.  I read a lot of fashion magazines and I have never seen one publication feature so many ethnic models the way Vogue Italia does.  I hope you guys enjoy these photos as much as I did when I saw them!!



Designer Spotlight: Victoria Beckham

I will admit I was skeptical of Victoria Beckham as a designer and barely paid any attention to her work until recently.  I was still hesitant to decide whether I liked her or not becuase she came off as elitist and snobbish.  Well after reading February's British Vogue Cover Story 'Queen Victoria', I have a new found respect for Mrs.  Beckham.  She seems like a very warm and personable woman and she has a crazy work ethic.  It was interesting to read about her designing process as she states in the interview "she doesn't draw she ties things around her and experiments with looks".  This is impressive considering how amazing her stuff actually is.  I just wanted to share some of her collection with you guys.  I know I am super late on this story but I tend to stockpile all of my international editions of my magazines so I am always a few months behind on reading them.
