So apparently Tyler Perry is pissed at the Boondocks for an episode that he served as inspiration. In a recent episode entitled 'Pause', Boondocks creator poked fun at Perry's Madea character and made social commentary on how Tyler Perry uses the character to mirror his own sexuality. In a nutshell he is trying to say Tyler Perry is gay. Now I am a little confused because I am pretty sure this rumor about Perry has been prevalent for awhile now and the Boondocks is not the first to bring to light. I am very disappointed in Tyler Perry as a writer and creator. I understand not wanting to be made fun of, but this is the point of the Boondocks. It is a satirical show that makes social commentary about black popular culture. If you are not gay Tyler Perry then why get so upset, laugh like the rest of us and keep it moving. Either way the episode has been pulled and will no longer air on television. I am pretty sure die hard 'Boondocks' fans will find the episode on the Internet somewhere.
