It's been 9 years since the death of Aaliyah and at times the thought of her passing still hurts as if it was yesterday. I remember where I was and what I was doing and how devastated I was to hear the news. I still have a hard time listening to her music and seeing her in videos and movies without wanting to tear up. Today is about remembering so take the time out to take a moment of silence for "baby girl" as fans and industry mates so affectionately referred to her. She truly was an angel on earth.
